Set the switch which is located underneath of solar panel to "on" position for charging. charge the solar product by placing it

under direct sunlight for a least 8 hours.

Solar product will work automatically. It will automatically charge under direct sunlight during the day time and illuminate at night.

Note: In order to verify that the switch is correctly in the "ON" position, cover the solar panel with your hand and light should turn on automatically.

IMPORTANT :

Install the solar product in an area where is can get direct sunlight.

Leave the switch to "ON" position.

Select an outdoor location away from other light sources at night, such as street light. It may cause the product not to turn on automatically at night.

Duration of light depends on solar product's level of sunlight exposure, geographical locations, weather condition and the hours of daylight.

MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING:

If solar product does not light up after it has been used for around 8-12 months, replace the rechargeable batteries as they may be weak or worn out.(Battery 1 pc "AA" 1.2v, NI-MH, Rechargeable-Same equivalent type as recommended must be used). 

BATTERY REPLACEMENT: Step 1 : Unscrew the battery compartment cover by using a Phillips head screwdriver(not included). The battery compartment is located underneath the solar panel. Step 2 : Remove the exhausted battery and install 1 pc pew AA rechargeable battery. Open the compartment carefully and ensure that welding wires inside the battery terminals are not damaged. Step 3 : Replace battery compartment cover, screw it back into position and make sure is properly sealed. BATTERY WARNING Battery must be recycled or disposed properly. Do not dispose battery near source of fire or into trash directly. Battery may explode or leak. Remove battery from product if storing produce for long period of time.
